This is how to convert from Polar to Rectangular.
There are two formulas to use when converting.
Here are the two formulas to use
- x= r cos(ø)
- y= r sin(ø)
Example 1:
Convert (3,45º) to rectangular.
- x=3cos45º, so x=1.576
- y=3sin45º, so y=2.553
- The rectangular coordinates are (1.576, 2.553)
