The first thing we are going to do is learn a few formulas that you will need for this section. As you can tell alomst every section in math contains formulas. Can you imagine how hard math would be if they didnt have formulas to help us with these wonderful problems?!?!?! Its crazy if you sit here and start thinking about how many formulas we have went through so far this year and we are only halfway through! Wow thats at lot!!! Anyway here are the formulas:
(f+g)(x) >you add the equations!
(f-g)(x) > you subtract the equations!
(ftimesg)(x) > you multiply the equations!
(f/g)(x) > you divide the equations!
So now that i have showed you the formulas you will now see an example or two of how to apply these formulas to everyday life!
f(x)= 8 g(x)=2 find (f+g)(x)
8+2
=10
BAM!!!!!!
