venn diagrams

ok so this week im going to talk about the venn diagrams. The first thing you need to know is a few things about the veen diagrams and how they work. Here are a few things you must know.

The intersection= n (which is the middle of the two circles)

The union=u (which is all of the two circles)

The complement is when there is a line over the letter. This means you want all elements that are not whatever is under the line.

You might also need to know this formula: n(A u B)=n(a) + n(b) - n(A n B)

That formula is so you don't count the middle number twice. ^^^^^

Ok soo i dont feel like drawing this diagram so im going to explain it so follow closely.

Theres a total of 20.
The first circle is B and it has 5
The second circle is O and it has 5.
The middle has 10.
And there is 0 leftover.

*(B n J)= 10
*(B u J)= 20
*complement of B which is 5.

Ohhhhhh Yeaaaaaaa all done. peace playas
