today is changing polar complex numbers to rectangular complex numbers. the formula is in 11-1 and your answer should come out as z= x + yi. it is not that hard to do but is easy to mess up. all you do is change it from polar to rectangular the what ever is x goes first and whatever is y goes next to the i. here is an example below.
EX:
6 cis 100
x= r cos (theta) y= r sin (theta)
x= 6 cos 100 y= 6 sin 100
x= -1.042 y= 5.91
z= -1.042 + 5.91 i
